On March 22nd, 1945 4 countries banded together to form what was known as the League of Arab States, now called the Arab League. Its purpose was to connect the Arabian speaking states, coordinate their politics, and promote culture among the countries. The 4 original countries to form this organization were Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and Yemen.
