The Middle East is split between the rule of two large leaders, the Ottoman Empire and Safavid Iran. The Ottoman empire has brought peace, stability, and economic progress and Safavid Iran has created agriculture and cultural improvements. Iran is under the rule of the Safavid dynasty. Meanwhile, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia are under rule of the Ottoman empire with Turkey being the center.
