While animals may be needed for certain medical and scientific advancements, PETA urges people to end animal testing by eating a healthy vegan diet and show how easy it is to shop cruelty-free. They want to protest assertively against cruelty to animals in all its forms. They also want to expose what really went on behind the very thick, soundproof walls of animal laboratories.
