jun 22, 1941 - UVOD
Description:
A Czech representative council had been made in London. In the early 1940’s it made contact with components of the resistance movement within Czechoslovakia and combined various units together into the Central Leadership of Resistance at Home (UVOD). Communists groups in Czechoslovakia didn’t join the UVOD due to the Nazi-Soviet Pact of August 1939. However, this changed with the creation of Operation Barbarossa in June 1941. These events would fall into the category of political and social. Changes within political systems affected the way that people felt about the UVOD. Such as if their political party was communist, they would not join the UVOD.
