Description:
After the battle of the plains of Abraham, 7000 French troops attacked and defeated the British in the battle of Sainte-foy. The British returned to Quebec and received supplies and reinforcements in may. While the French were forced to retreat to Montreal. That September Montreal surrendered to the British and the Seven years war ended. A treaty would then be signed in 1763.Added to timeline:
