Description:

The first year of fighting begins after the British lost in battle against the French and were forced to withdraw from Ohio river valley. The British military then changed their strategy and chose to ignore the forts the French have set up along the Ohio valley. Instead they blockaded as many of the French ports as they could, attempting to prevent the French forces from being resupplied. However this strategy failed in 1757. A French fleet got past the blockade and resupplied the French.
