Description:

An angry white mob formed around the Greyhound Station in Montgomery on May 20th, 1961 to protest violently against the Freedom Riders that had stopped there. Kennedy had to deploy tons of marshals and troops to stop the mob, but the mob continued fighting and fought the federal marshals.
