dec 5, 1955 - Montgomery bus boycott

Description:

The Montgomery Bus Boycotts were a nonviolent protest in the wake of what had just happened to Rosa Parks after being arrested unfairly. Martin Luther King Jr. organized the protest to the buses and stopped riding them all together. The boycott was regarded as the first large-scale organization to protest segregation and gained tons of momentum to put in place more and more protests.
