Description:

The SNCC ( Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee) was formed in April of 1960 in response to the treatment of African Americans. The Committee was formed by college students in order to gain more momentum throughout Universities that could use the intelligent African Americans as a platform to create demonstrations to protest the way African Americans were treated.
