Description:
Often referred to as the "Father of the American Factory system." He was a mill worker in England who intentionally violated British law in 1789 when he memorized the design of an English factory, spinning machine, emigrated to America and assisted entrepreneur Moses Brown in the reproduction of this machine for factory use. It was the beginning of the American industrial revolution specifically for textile production.
