sep 29, 1938 - Munich Agreement

Description:

On September 29, 1938, France, Britain, Germany, and Italy signed the Munich Agreement, stating that Hitler was now allowed to take control of Czechoslovakia's territories for his Sudetenland, in efforts for peace amongst the nations; because Hitler had offered a form of an ultimatum, stating if he didn't recieve his Czechoslovakian Sudetenland, he would unleash a European war. At this time it was agreed upon that Czechoslovakia was to be completely taken over under the control of Hitler. This being a political matter, was concluded upon by the nations, as it was declared the Czechoslovakian Government be responsible for avoiding damage to installations made by the Germans, simultaneously carrying out their citizens' evacuation.
