A massacre committed by Japanese soldiers against the Chinese citizens of Nanjing. 300,000 civilians were killed altogether and about 50,00 per week, for the pure entertainment of the Japanese. There were also 1,000 reported cases of rape per night and many during the day. 1 million Chinese also got thrown into the Yellow River over the course ofthis mass murder.Added to timeline:
