Description:

The Southern Christian Leadership Confrense was founded after the bus boycott by Martin Luther King and other black leaders who invited 60 black ministers to atlanta. The goal of the conference was to create an orginization where they could plan nonviolent protest and similar action to have an orginized front against discrimination.
