Represenative: "You were living about 3 miles north of Rockford at the time of the incident, correct? Can you describe what you saw?"

Terry: "Yes. and yes it was extraordinarily bizarre. That night, a meteor came down from the sky and crashed in a field. Within a few hours, I noticed objects floating in the air and a bright light coming from the area where the meteor crashed."

Represenative: "What kind of objects?"

Terry: "Cars, trees, powerlines, buildings even... And at some point I saw rings circling the light in the middle. There seemed to be a mirage engulfing the entire scene, as the air seemed to warp almost like a heatwave. Then I saw the ground shift and break open around the light. At this point I got in my car and I just started driving."

Represenative: "Did you return home at any point after that?"

Terry: "No, the military prevented anybody from going back there. Probably for the better."

Represenative: "Were you ever compensated for your losses?"

Terry: "Not officially. But there fundraising efforts in our community to help mitigate some of the damages."

Represenative: "Thank you for your time this evening."
