Description:

"The body was discovered about 10:05pm by two men returning to their car after some late night fishing. [...] The coroner's office said the victim, now listed simply as John Doe No. 94, may have been killed at the scene earlier in the evening" (SPNP 7/11/73).

"Two fishermen found the young man, about 10pm, still alive, lying face-up about 50 feet from the east end of the lake in a parking lot, near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and the Harbor Freeway. The fishermen led police to the scene, but by the time paramedics were summoned, the victim was dead, authorities said" (LBI 7/12/73).

"Two fishermen found the boy dying of head injuries [...] on a path near the east bank of Harbor Park Lake" (LBPT 7/18/73, LBI 7/19/73).

"[...] He was found unconscious and near death on a dirt roadway alongside Harbor Lake. Police said that although the teenager was still alive when he was found by two fishermen, he died by the time paramedics were called to the scene" (SPNP 7/19/73).
