Description:
"The head of a dismembered man slain Saturday [4/21/73] was found in a paper bag Thursday [4/26/73] at a Gardena area paper company. An employee of the Pioneer Paper Co., 705 W 182nd St, Los Angeles, told police he was stacking material on a conveyor belt when the head rolled from a brown supermarket bag in front of him. [...] Police said the man apparently had been stabbed, strangled, and dismembered sometime Saturday" (TDB 4/27/73).
"The head was discovered amid paper trash at a Carson paper stock company [...]. The head later was traced to a Long Beach trash bin" (LBPT 5/20/73).
