Description:

"Hikers found the body [...] about two hours after he was sexually mutilated and stabbed to death. [...] Lundgren left his home about 11:30am on Memorial Day [5/28/79]" (TOS 6/4/79).

"Detectives say Lundgren was probably murdered alongside the highway [...] between 11am and 1:30pm May 28 [1979]. [...] 'This crime occurred in broad daylight and less than three hours elapsed between the time he left his home and when his body was found'" (TOS 6/6/79).


COD strangulation. Had also been stabbed and bludgeoned, as well as castrated. Found nude.
** Serial killer William Bonin was charged for Thomas's death, however unlike the rest of his murders, Bonin explicitly denied killing Thomas, and some users online have stated that Thomas's murder seems more in line with Kraft's MO than Bonin's. **
