"Detectives already have established that Witcher was last seen at the Ship Tavern, located at 7827 SW 35th Ave in Multnomah, the afternoon of Nov. 23rd [1982] and at John's Sentry Market, about a block away, later that evening. [...] Witcher was known to have been at a party in the vicinity of Southwest Barbur Boulevard in the Southwest Portland-Tigard area between 9 and 10pm the night before his body was found" i.e., the night of Nov. 23, 1982.
