Description:

"The dismembered body of a young man was discovered today [8/29/79] in a Long Beach dumpster. Parts of the body [...] were found in three separate trash bags by a service station attendant this morning" (TOS 8/29/79).

"The dismembered body of a young man was found Wednesday [8/29/79] in a trash bin behind a service station at 2nd St and Pacific Coast Highway in the Belmont Shore area of Long Beach. [...] A Service station attendant discovered the body [...] at 8:15am. It had been stuffed into a trash bag and was not complete, officers said" (LAT 8/30/79).

"[...] dismembered body was found stuffed in plastic trash bags in a dumpster trash bin behind a Long Beach gasoline station Aug. 29, [1979]. [...] The remains, in two plastic bags and a cardboard box, were discovered when an attendant went to dump trash behind the station at 6280 E. Pacific Coast Highway" (LBPT).

"Found Aug. 29, 1979, in a dumpster at a Union 76 station at Pacific Coast Highway and 2nd Street in Long Beach. His arms had been severed at the shoulders, legs severed at the hip joints, and head severed. Only the head, left leg, and torso were recovered. A sock had been stuffed into a body cavity" (1988 Scorecard).

It seems that his arms + right leg were never recovered.
