Description:

"A body was found early Saturday [11/18/78]. [...] It was discovered by a passing motorist about 7 am" (OCR 11/19/78).

"Inderbieten was last seen alive as he walked near the Long Beach traffic circle on Pacific Coast Highway about 2 am Saturday [11/18/78]. His body, which police said had been sexually mutilated, was discovered about 7 am by a passing motorist" (OCR 11/22/78).

"His body was found Saturday morning [11/18/78] beside the 7th St. onramp to the northbound 605 Freeway. [...] The young man was last seen a few hours before his death hitchhiking at Pacific Coast Highway and Ximeno Ave, Long Beach. Investigators are seeking witnesses who might have seen the young man catch a ride in that area or who may have seen his body being dumped from a car later that morning" (LAT 11/23/78).
