Body found
Description:
"Body found Saturday [1/3/76] by a group of off-duty Santa Ana policemen driving dune buggies in the upper east end of Silverado Canyon on a trail leading to Bedford Peak, some 15 miles east of Santa Ana. Preliminary investigation by coroner's deputies indicates the man found Saturday was probably killed 48 hours earlier, which would have been New Year's Day" (OCR 1/6/76).
"Coroner's investigators believe Hall was slain approximately 48 hours before his body was found. This would mean he died on New Year's Day" (OCR 1/10/76).
"[...] Nude body found in Silverado Canyon Jan. 3 [1976]. [...] Hall's body was found in Silverado Canyon Jan. 3, a year after Leras was found. It was also close to New Year's Day." (OCR 2/9/76).
"A few days [after New Year's Day], the police came to [Hall's place of work] to ask questions. Hall's nude body had been discovered on Bedford Peak in the Saddleback Mountains" (Last Ride, Ch.5).
