Description:

"SUNSET BEACH -- [...] His body was found in the cold ocean waters off 2nd Street early Saturday [1/4/75]. According to reports, area residents spotted the body around 7:30am and notified authorities" (AB 1/6/75).

"The nude body [was] found in the surf at Sunset Beach. [...] The body washed ashore at about 7:30am Saturday [1/4/75] at the foot of 24th Street. [...] He last was seen when he left his Long Beach home shortly after 6pm Friday [1/3/75] to catch a bus to a roller-skating rink in Long Beach" (LBPT 1/8/75).

"His body was found in the surf at Sunset Beach on Jan. 3, 1975. He had been tied, abused, and suffocated in the sand. His body had been carried into the surf about a mile from where it washed ashore. The youth had disappeared the evening before his body was found. He had been last seen en route to a roller skating rink in Long Beach" (LBPT 6/8/75 pt 2).

"The body was found in the waves at Sunset Beach in January 1975, shortly after New Year's Day" (OCR 2/9/76).
