June 1775- This Battle, coming only months after the Shot heard round the world, foreshadowed the war by showing British commitment to formalities and Patriot's commitment to functionalities. The patriot's held strong positions on this hill, as the British march up in formation; the Patriots shot them down. When the Patriots ran out of ammunition and the British kept coming, Patriots did the sensible thing and ran for their lives. The British won the hill but terribly lost the battle in terms of casualties.
