mar 5, 1770 - Boston Massacre
Description:
This event probably started when some Bostonians started throwing snowballs and heckling a group of British regulars in the center of Boston. Not quite a massacre, it does show the intense negative emotions that colonists in Boston felt toward the presence of British troops. It was widely publicized as near propaganda by Paul Revere's engraving.
