Emmett Till was born on July 25th, 1941 and died at the young age of 14. Till had entered a grocery store and had said something that had offended a white woman. As a result, 2 men and a woman drove to the house Till was staying at, took him, tied him up in the back of a green pickup truck and drove off. Eventually, the men pistol-whipped and shot him, then tossed him over the Black Bayou Bridge.
