jun 13, 1 BC - Luxarion Blackwood creates Ametov and its four continents: Grinoris, Bluhand, Eabos and Nogoris
Description:
Ametov — Biography
Planet Name: Ametov
Created By: Luxarion Blackwood on June 13th 1 BCE
Location: Aetheria Galaxy
Titles: The Jewel of Purple Skies, The World of Crystal Winds, The Amethyst Heart of Aetheria
Ametov is one of the most peaceful and visually breathtaking worlds in the Aetheria Galaxy, a planet of crystalline beauty, floating wonders, and quiet warmth. Wrapped in a transparent light-purple ring that sparkles like a newly discovered amethyst crystal beneath the blue sun of Aetheria, Ametov appears almost dreamlike from space, as if someone turned a gemstone into an entire world.
The world is divided into four continents, each carrying its own identity and atmosphere.
Grinoris, located in the northeast, is home to the snow-covered town of Winterhold, a beautiful oasis of frosted forests and soft purple snowfields. Winterhold contains Amethyst Park, the sacred birthplace of Amethyst Blackwood. The snow there never feels harsh or bitter; instead, it drifts gently across the land like glittering crystal dust.
To the southeast lies Bluhand, where the floating city of Nova Cèles hangs upon a magical violet cloud. The city glows with crystalline brilliance and seems to shimmer whenever the blue sun rises across the horizon. Citizens often say Nova Cèles looks less like a city and more like a constellation that decided to descend from the stars.
To the southwest rests Eabos, home to Al Qunfudah, a modern Egyptian-inspired city known throughout the galaxy for its food, hospitality, music, and lively streets. Crystal lanterns illuminate the city at night while aromas from hundreds of kitchens drift through the air.
Among all the places on Ametov, Al Qunfudah holds special meaning for Amethyst Blackwood and her younger sister Morgan.
Amethyst never accepted people calling Morgan her "half-sister." To her, Morgan has always simply been her sister.
Because of that, Al Qunfudah gradually became their place.
The two of them spend countless days wandering through markets together, trying strange foods, discovering hidden shops, listening to musicians on street corners, and simply enjoying each other's company. Sometimes they spend hours debating which dessert stand is best. Sometimes they say almost nothing at all and simply walk beside one another.
For Amethyst, those moments matter more than cosmic powers or divine responsibilities.
People across Ametov have even grown used to seeing the two together. Children sometimes point and whisper:
"Look, it's Amethyst and Morgan again."
And the sisters continue walking, laughing, disappearing into another street in Al Qunfudah in search of something new to discover.
The final continent, Nogoris, lies in the northwest and contains Expasa, a vast underwater metropolis blending ancient elegance with advanced architecture. When the blue sun shines overhead, the city gleams beneath the ocean surface like a hidden galaxy beneath the waves.
Though Ametov is admired for its beauty, its people believe the planet's greatest treasure is not its crystal ring, floating cities, or sparkling oceans.
They say its greatest treasure is the connections people share.
And for Amethyst Blackwood, some of the brightest places on Ametov are not cities at all.
They're the memories she creates with Morgan.
Evening had settled over Al Qunfudah, painting the streets with soft gold and violet light. Crystal lanterns hung from archways and market stalls, glowing gently as if tiny stars had been lowered into the city. Warm desert winds carried the smell of cinnamon bread, honey pastries, grilled meats, and unfamiliar spices drifting through the crowded streets.
Amethyst walked beside Morgan with her hands tucked into the pockets of her ocean-blue jeans, her purple hair shifting slightly in the breeze. Morgan walked next to her, occasionally glancing upward at the hanging lanterns and sparkling crystal decorations suspended between buildings.
Street musicians played soft melodies nearby while children ran through the market laughing.
Morgan suddenly slowed.
"...Amethyst."
Amethyst looked over.
"Hm?"
Morgan pointed toward a tiny food stand sitting near a fountain.
The stand had mountains of colorful desserts stacked in crystal trays—bright blue pastries, pink sugar-coated fruits, and tiny glowing cakes that looked almost too pretty to eat.
Morgan stared at them with complete seriousness.
"I think that one is staring at me."
Amethyst blinked.
"The pastry?"
Morgan nodded.
"The blue one."
Amethyst looked at the dessert.
Then looked back at Morgan.
Then back at the dessert.
"...Morgan."
"...Yeah?"
"I don't think pastries usually stare back."
Morgan narrowed her eyes suspiciously.
"That's exactly what a suspicious pastry would want us to think."
Amethyst stared at her for two seconds.
Then burst into laughter.
Not a polite laugh.
Not a quiet laugh.
The kind where she had to stop walking because she couldn't breathe.
Morgan crossed her arms dramatically.
"I am protecting us."
"Oh absolutely," Amethyst said between laughs. "Protector of Aetheria against dangerous desserts."
Morgan tried to maintain a serious expression.
She lasted about three seconds.
Then both sisters were laughing while nearby people turned to look.
An elderly vendor smiled quietly from behind his stand.
He'd seen powerful beings walk through Al Qunfudah before.
Gods.
Heroes.
Travelers.
But moments like this were different.
Because for all their powers, right now they weren't celestial beings.
They were just two sisters walking through a city they loved.
And under the crystal lanterns of Al Qunfudah, that felt more magical than anything else.
Al Qunfudah
Arabic: القنفذه
Planet: Ametov
Continent: Eabos
Titles: The City of Crystal Lanterns, The Golden Market of Ametov, The City of Shared Moments
Al Qunfudah is one of the most vibrant and beloved cities on the crystal world of Ametov. Located on the southwestern continent of Eabos, the city is famous throughout the Aetheria Galaxy for its hospitality, rich culture, extraordinary food, colorful architecture, and lively atmosphere. Though the city shares its name with a place on Earth, the Al Qunfudah of Ametov developed into a completely unique civilization inspired by Egyptian aesthetics, Aetherian crystal culture, and centuries of planetary tradition.
Unlike cities built around military power or technological dominance, Al Qunfudah grew around something much simpler:
people gathering together.
Ancient Ametovian settlers believed that cities should never merely be places where people lived. They believed cities should become places where memories were created.
Over thousands of years, Al Qunfudah evolved into exactly that.
Appearance and Architecture
Al Qunfudah stretches across warm lands beside crystal-fed waterways and sparkling desert plains. The city combines elegant Egyptian-inspired architecture with modern Aetherian design.
Its streets contain:
towering sandstone structures
crystal archways
beautiful domes
open-air markets
glowing crystal lanterns
decorative fountains
hanging gardens
narrow side streets filled with hidden shops
At sunset the city becomes especially beautiful.
Thousands of crystal lanterns suspended above roads and plazas illuminate the streets with warm gold and violet light. Reflections from nearby crystal structures dance across buildings and pathways, causing parts of the city to appear almost dreamlike.
Many travelers claim that walking through Al Qunfudah at night feels like walking through a memory.
Culture
The people of Al Qunfudah are widely known for being:
welcoming
expressive
family-oriented
artistic
joyful
generous
Music plays constantly throughout many areas of the city. Street performers, musicians, storytellers, and artists can be found almost everywhere.
Citizens strongly believe that meals should never simply be eaten.
Meals should be shared.
As a result, food became one of the city's greatest cultural treasures.
Food and Cuisine
Al Qunfudah is regarded as one of the culinary capitals of Aetheria.
Its markets contain:
crystal-glazed pastries
honey-covered desserts
aromatic breads
spiced dishes
glowing fruit creations
cosmic teas
exotic foods imported from neighboring worlds
Visitors often arrive intending to stay for several days.
Many end up staying for months.
Ancient Ametovian sayings claim:
"No one leaves Al Qunfudah with an empty stomach or an empty heart."
The City of Shared Moments
Among the countless visitors who passed through Al Qunfudah, two became especially familiar faces:
Amethyst Blackwood and Morgan Weaver.
Although Amethyst possessed divine origins and Morgan's life would eventually become tied to cosmic conflict, neither of them came to Al Qunfudah seeking grand adventures.
They came because they simply enjoyed being together.
The sisters spent countless days wandering through markets, discovering hidden shops, listening to musicians, and trying new foods.
Sometimes they debated which food stand was best.
Sometimes they laughed over things nobody else understood.
Sometimes they walked quietly through lantern-lit streets without saying anything at all.
To many citizens, seeing the two together eventually became normal.
Children sometimes pointed toward the streets and whispered:
"Look, Amethyst and Morgan are here again."
The sisters never seemed to notice.
Or perhaps they simply didn't mind.
Historical Importance
Though Al Qunfudah possesses beauty and cultural significance, historians throughout Aetheria often argue that the city's greatest contribution cannot be measured by architecture or trade.
Its greatest contribution is memory.
Because long after battles fade, long after galaxies change, and long after darkness attempts to erase what once existed—
people still remember moments created there.
Moments of laughter.
Moments of peace.
Moments shared with someone they loved.
And somewhere within Morgan's heart, beneath everything the Void tried to take away, Al Qunfudah remained exactly as it always had been:
A place where two sisters simply enjoyed life together.
