aug 13, 12 BC - Emma Blackwood is created out of a beam of solidified light and receives immortality from her father Luxarion Blackwood
Description:
Emma Blackwood was created from a beam of solidified celestial light on August 13th, 12 BCE on the radiant pink world of Selov, one of the most beautiful planets within the Aetheria Galaxy. She was the first child created by Luxarion Blackwood and represented the earliest expression of his desire to bring warmth, compassion, and guidance into the growing galaxy. Rather than being born naturally, Emma emerged when Luxarion gathered pure stellar light within his hands and condensed it into living form beneath the skies of Selov.
Witnesses described the moment as breathtaking. A column of luminous energy descended from the heavens, scattering glowing particles across the pink valleys of the planet before slowly shaping itself into a small child with bright blue eyes and soft pink hair. Unlike many divine beings who inspired fear or awe upon arrival, Emma’s first instinct was curiosity. She smiled before she even spoke.
From the beginning, Emma possessed an unusually compassionate nature. Though she carried the immense power of a celestial goddess, she never viewed herself as superior to mortals or lesser beings. She preferred exploring worlds, helping others, and learning about emotions rather than displaying divine authority. Many inhabitants of Aetheria referred to her as “The Gentle Light” because of her calming presence and instinctive empathy toward others.
Emma inherited immense celestial abilities from her father, including photokinesis, flight, enhanced perception, energy manipulation, and the ability to survive within the vacuum of space itself. Yet despite her power, Emma remained emotionally approachable. She wore simple casual clothing, laughed easily, and treated even cosmic beings as equals rather than subjects.
As the oldest of Luxarion’s children, Emma naturally became a guiding figure within the Blackwood family. She shared a particularly close bond with her siblings Maya, Hercules, and Amethyst, but her deepest emotional connection formed with the youngest child:
Morgan Weaver.
Unlike her older siblings, Morgan had been naturally born rather than created directly from cosmic matter or divine energy. To some outsiders this distinction made Morgan “different” from the others, but Emma never accepted that idea for even a moment. She never referred to Morgan as her half-sister. To Emma, Morgan was simply:
her little sister.
Nothing else mattered.
Emma adored Morgan completely. She taught her how to fly through the skies of Xaotura, played among the stars with her, comforted her during moments of fear, and often acted more like a second mother than an older sibling. Morgan admired Emma deeply and viewed her as one of the safest and brightest people in her life.
Among all the siblings, Emma seemed to understand Morgan emotionally better than anyone else.
This made Morgan’s eventual transformation into Morwenna Voidweaver especially devastating for her.
When Morgan disappeared into the influence of the Obsidian Spire and the ancient void sovereign Murokoth Voidweaver, Emma refused to believe her sister was completely gone. While others feared Morwenna’s growing darkness, Emma continued searching for traces of the little girl she loved beneath the obsidian shadows. Even after hearing stories of Morwenna’s terrifying powers and witnessing the destruction connected to the Void, Emma never stopped calling Morgan her sister.
That unwavering love eventually became more important than anyone realized.
During Morgan’s long internal struggle against the identity of Morwenna Voidweaver, memories connected to her family became anchors protecting her remaining sense of self from complete erasure. Among those memories were moments spent flying beside Emma across the stars of Aetheria, laughing beneath the pink skies of Selov, and feeling genuinely accepted without needing to become anything else.
Though Emma Blackwood is remembered across the galaxies as a powerful celestial goddess born from living light, those closest to her know her true strength was never simply divine power.
It was her ability to love people completely,
without conditions,
without hierarchy,
and without ever letting darkness redefine who they were to her.
