Description:

The Arba’ah Turim, written by Rabbi Yaakov ben Asher, is one of the most important medieval codes of Jewish law. It organized halakhah into four sections: Orach Chaim, Yoreh De’ah, Even HaEzer, and Choshen Mishpat.

Its importance comes from creating the structure later used by the Shulchan Aruch. Many later halakhic works follow the Tur’s organization.
