"At 10:53 PM on January 16th, 1999, HOME ground teams arrived in Valentine, Nebraska to investigate and contain the second CBE crash site. What was found at the crash site was an intact segment of AZ-001's crown, an organ containing vocalization functions. The purpose of these vocalizations remains unknown. The reason for the crown's humanoid appearance remains unknown. It was discovered to be made from CBE cellular compound, albeit in a necrotic form. The interior of the crown contained CBE organ matter in a highly necrotic form, with some portions fully transformed into STARKILL cells. STARKILL cells taken from the vocalization organ were tested and deemed to be a novel strain. Unlike the Sensory Strain, the Vocalization Strain appeared to rely on psychological tactics rather than speed or strength to assimilate biomatter targets..."

"Following the discovery of the Vocalization Strain, a search for STARKILL instances in Valentine, Nebraska was ordered. Hazard Containment units were dispatched to search for and incinerate any known instances. Two households, 32 Breakwood Blvd. and 17 Lace Way, were discovered to be infested with Vocalization Strain STARKILL instances. These households were subsequently incinerated and detonated with C4 explosives."
