Townshend Acts 15, June 1767
These acts were taxes put on the colonists by the British, the goal was to show the colonists whose in power and also to gain money from it. The colonists reaction was; disliking the acts because they didnt like the British taxing them and they didnt like losing money trough taxes, so they rebelled against it.
