Repeal of Stamp Act and passage of Declaratory Act, 18 march 1766
The goal of the British was to get the colonists to like them and the declaratory act also kept the control of the Colonies to the British. The reaction of the colonists was joy that the Stamp act was repelled but also they were angry and decided to just ignore the Declaratory act due to its full control of them.
