Description:
Shortly after noon, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated as he was riding in a motorcade in Dallas with his wife, Jackie. Bullets struck his neck as he slumped towards Jackie, and he was also shot in the chest. Less than an hour later, the Dallas police arrested Lee Harvey Oswald, who was held for Kennedy's assassination.
