After three and a half days of guerrilla warfare against the Duchy of the Inopenses, the Inostropian National Army prepared a coordinated counteroffensive. The objective was clear: reclaim all territories captured by the Inopenses and eliminate their presence within Inostropia entirely.

The army assembled in Dorossia, the only city still under Inostropian control, during the afternoon of March 30th, 2026 (GMT+1). The participating forces included Heart9147, Daewe, InfinityZoom187, Levvanderr, Ascia di Ferro, SIIAZE, and Vorhees3709, with EternalAbyss169 joining the campaign later.

From Dorossia, the counteroffensive began with a march toward Afkara, which was successfully recaptured after a significant battle. Following the same route, the Inostropian forces proceeded to retake former Tientia, P.I.G., and Pine Hills in quick succession.

The next target was Alpach. Before launching an assault, however, SIIAZE was sent ahead to scout the area. He confirmed that no enemy forces were present, allowing the army to advance immediately toward Inopensia, the former capital of Inostropia.

The capital was reclaimed after heavy fighting, and with its recapture, the original spawn was restored to Inostropian control. The world spawn was subsequently reset to coordinates 0, 120, 0. From there, the army advanced toward the Forum Inostropicum, which was retaken following another intense battle. This victory marked a highly symbolic turning point, as the forum represented the heart of the 5th Inostropian Republic. At this stage, InfinityZoom187 formally declared all former Inopense territories restored to the republic.

Following the recapture of the forum, the army paused its advance, partly due to Infinity having a real-life driving lesson. Once he returned, the counteroffensive resumed, targeting Stormhaven next.

The battle for Stormhaven proved to be the most difficult of the entire campaign. The Inostropian forces suffered heavy casualties, and supply shortages became a serious issue as armor and equipment were nearly depleted. Despite these challenges, the city was eventually retaken through extreme effort and coordination.

During the Stormhaven operation, Levvanderr independently secured the District of the Main Island. With both objectives achieved, the only remaining stronghold of the Inopenses was Krasnoye.

The final battle took place in Krasnoye. After a fierce confrontation, the Inostropian Army successfully reclaimed the city. During the fight, Ambiorigius himself entered the battlefield and was ultimately killed by Inostropian forces.

With the death of Ambiorigius and the fall of Krasnoye, the counteroffensive was completed successfully. The Great Defense War against the Inopenses came to an end, and Inostropia was fully restored.
