On the late evening of March 21st, 2026, an unexpected event occurred: a group of Inopenses crossed the northern border of Inostropia. They were armed and clearly prepared for conflict.

Only one day earlier, the Inostropian Senate had assessed the Inopenses as posing minimal threat, with most senators rating the danger level at approximately 1/10. This assessment proved to be severely incorrect.

The Inopenses were first encountered by members of the Inostropian National Army during an expedition into the northern region, which had originally been launched to locate them. The expedition included Theonenoneliked, Ascia di Ferro, and InfinityZoom187. Upon discovering the group, combat broke out almost immediately, though it remains unclear which side initiated the first strike.

It quickly became evident that the Inopenses were unlike any previous threat Inostropia had faced. Their appearance differed drastically from anything seen in Minecraft, and they wielded unfamiliar weapons that the Inostropian Army had no experience against. They were also significantly strong in direct combat.

The battle was intense and exhausting. Approximately half of Ascia di ferro’s armor was destroyed, while three-quarters of InfinityZoom187’s armor was lost. Infinity was killed twice, and Theonenoneliked also fell twice during the confrontation. At several points, the Inostropian forces were forced to retreat as the Inopenses briefly advanced into Inostropian territory.

Although the incursion remained limited in scale and was not aimed at significant land control, the situation was nonetheless critical. Eventually, the National Army managed to repel the Inopenses and push them back beyond the border, bringing the conflict to an end. Despite the outcome, the soldiers involved were left partially shaken by the experience.

In the aftermath, it became clear that the threat posed by the Inopenses had been severely underestimated. It was widely assumed that their return was only a matter of time, potentially in greater numbers and with increased strength. As a result, the following day orders were issued to significantly upgrade and re-equip the national army, primarily using spare netherite armor.
