PUT
ASSEMBLEE NATIONALE DU TOGO (ANT), 1961-1967. The name of the legislative body established in April 1961 to replace the Chambre de Deputes that functioned between 1958 and 1961 and had itself replaced the previous Assemblée Legislative du Togo. The ANT's membership was composed of fifty-one deputies, all supporters of the Comité de l'Unité Togolaise of Sylvanus Olympio as a result of electoral manipulation and the intimidation of opposition parties.
