Description:
The soviet had blockaded all roads and railways to berli, trying to force the west allies out of the city . This left the Soviet side of Berlin starving, without food, fuel or supplies. Instead of responding back the US and its allies flue supplies into the city using cargo planes. For nearly a year planes supplied thousands of deliveries. Eventually the soviets ended the blockade, and this help show that the us will stand up to soviet power without real war
