oct 7, 1939 - Himmler appointed as commisioner for the RKFDV
Description:
Shortly after Germany invaded and partitioned Poland, Himmler was named Reich Commissioner for the Strengthening of Ethnic German Stock Committee. Similar to other organizations that Himmler ran (like the Gestapo and SD), the RKFDV had full authority over who was considered German, where they should live, and what populations should be moved / exterminated to "make room" for ethnic Germans.
