Legacy whyt discovered apparently duplicated gear within the city of Tientia. It was quickly suspected by him, and later by other players, that Ascia di ferro, one of the acting Consuls, was responsible for the duplication. A trial was convened four days after the gear was found. Although the proceedings lasted over an hour, one conclusion was reached relatively quickly: Ascia had indeed been responsible. At the very start of the trial, he confessed. The main discussion then shifted to the appropriate punishment and whether his motives could justify his actions. Ascia claimed that the duping had been done to defend the city, as he believed Tientia was under threat from P.I.G. However, this justification was ultimately rejected. The court ruled Ascia di Ferro guilty. He was sentenced to a two-week visitor status, during which he lost access to his armor and was equipped only with basic iron gear. In addition, he was removed from his position as Consul and barred from running for Consul or Supreme Judge in the next elections.
