sep 15, 1935 - September, 15th, 1935 : Nuremberg Laws

Description:

On the fifteenth of September 1935, Adolf Hitler establishes the “Nuremberg Laws”. These laws were to protect the honor of Germans and the Arian race.

Theses laws prohibited the intermarriage between the two “races”. If one of your grandparents was a Jew, you would be considered a “mixed ancestry 2nd grade” (still able to become a German citizen). If two of your grandparents were Jews, you would be considered: “mixed ancestry 1st grade” (still able to become a German citizen). But more than two you couldn’t become a German citizen and were considered a Jew yourself. If you didn’t have any Jewish grandparents, you would be considered to have “German Blood”.

Jewish people would not be allowed to own any company or (if you were under 45) you weren’t allowed to work in a household of Jewish people.
