Lucius dropped her off at his temporary haven like something fragile. Polite, distant and with an unspoken warning.

Geraldo barely looks at her. The place was too dark, the corners feeling too deep.
The first lesson was dismantling her impulse to please.
"The Abyss is not yours. It is not impressed by your curiosity. And it doesn't care how pretty you are. All that matters is if you can survive until it notices you." he said that first night.

The shadows laughed at her, internal and mocking.

Geraldo tells her that her blood is too weak and unanchored. She couldn't touch the Abyss in her current state, or she will be hollowed out until nothing is left to scream. Then her cuts himself, tells her to drink, and sends her to rest for now.
