"The TV started blinking and then the room started changing, distorting and warping. I saw colors I've never seen before. Mom and dad were there. Then dad disappeared. I don't know where he went. I saw more shapes in the air. Something terrifying was happening just in front of me but mom grabbed me and shielded my eyes. She was holding on to me tightly, protecting me from whatever it was. Before I knew it, she was gone too but the colors stopped. I must have been in some kind of dream. I woke up in a forest at night, covered in a thick substance. It smelled horrible.
