Description:

"A recorded broadcast of Channel 8 on a night in 1989 was recovered from local police authorities on April 6th, 1999. It is currently being stored in the Meida Center. the [sic] tape was part of police evidence of convicted murderer Simon Hunt from Ashenfield, Massachusetts. It is unknown if Simon himself recorded the tape or if he obtained it from somewhere else. The tape is the only known recording of a film called 'Attack of the Somberville Spiders' allegedly produced in 1952 or 1953. The original reel has yet to be discovered. Somber Film Company no longer exists and all known previous employees have passed away or disappeared. The credits hint at a tragedy that occured in Somberville, Massachusetts, though no evidence of such tragedy was ever uncovered. The town, however, is mistly [sic] empty with only a few stores remaining open and most houses completely abandoned. The local cave system has evidence of some kind of bear or large animal population, though the detals remain unclear at this time."
