jul 1, 1790 - The Battle of Bennington

Description:

Description: This was a battle between the Americans and the British. In this battle around 1,500 Americans dressed up as loyalist wanting to "help the British fight." After this they then surrounded them and took many of them as prisoners. But before this George Washington had told the officers to go to church that sunday.
Significance:
1. This event shows the hand of the Lord in history because as you can tell as the officers went to church on sunday they were able to come closer to Jesus Christ. As they became strengthen spirituality they were also strengthened in other parts of their life.
2. This did show one of Satan's deceptions because he can "dress like someone we love or know and attack us from that angle.
3. This event showed how the Americans could come together and showed how they won the war in the later years to come.
