Description: George Washington is known by some to be the father of our country and father of the founding fathers.
Significance:
1. George created a nation where the ability to have religion of your choosing and now that that has happened Joseph Smith is able to create a religion without difficulty.
2. George also fought of the British and create freedom for all in the US (except slavery which would be abolished later).
3. Georges military career started with the protection of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ because they knew that he was ordained to help in the restoration of the gospel. During the revolution he was shot at many times but was never hit.
