"We interrupt this program. This is a national emergency; Important instructions will follow. At Seven-fifteen P.M., Eastern Standard Time, a nuclear weapon detonated over District of Columbia, D.C. Seek shelter indoors or underground immediately. Repeat, seek shelter indoors or underground immediately. This is not a test: The United States of America is currently under attack by a foreign threat. Due to the nature of this attack, citizens are advised to self-isolate and avoid contact with others. The extent of the attack currently unknown. This advisory is in effect until further notice."

Due to a national state of emergency, all residents of Key West, Big Coppitt Key, Cudjoe Key, and Big Pine Key, must evacuate north by US Route One toward mainland, Florida. An evacuation order is a lawful order to leave now and seek shelter away from the area. The area is closed to public access until further notice. An evacuation order will likely be the last order given."
