Description:

The Berbers took over most inner land, and then tried to siege coast cities like Carthage. However, as local themes setting up defenses, and still receive supply from sea, these cities mostly last long enough until Nikephoros II sent reinforce there. Due to the war in Aegyptus, the siege in Caesarea last until 1008 to lift.
