Description:

Virginia Legislator called for a convention of all the states in Maryland to discuss interstate commerce. Only five representatives came and it was decided that the issues could not be resolved without addressing the faults in the Articles of Confederation. The U.S. Constitutional Convention was scheduled by Congress for 8 months later.
