sep 7, 2014 - Sept 2014 New York Post reports that Ahmad Abousamra was “regular worshipper” at the Islamic Society of Boston's mosques. Abousamra was a key ISIL / ISIS official who was on the FBI’s ‘Most Wanted’ list. In June 2015, the media reported Abousamra may have been killed in an airstrike carried out by Iraq forces. Abousamra is the son of Abdulbadi Abousamra, the vice-president of the Muslim American Society’s Boston branch, which runs the ISB’s Roxbury mosque.
