Description:

The United States entered WW1 by declaring war on Germany on April 6, 1917. President Wilson was the one who asked Congress to join it due to Germanys use of submarine warfare and the Zimmerman Telegram. To begin with Wilson wanted neutrality, but due to Germany's aggression and the Telegram, he reconsidered and later advocated for the US to protect Americans.
