A chaplain is celebrating daily at the altar of St. Mary in the Leek church. He holds the messuage (Dwelling and adjoining land appropriated to a household) and twelve acres in Leek for life by the grant of William, the Vicar of Leek.
Besides Leek and Lowe, the manor of Leek includes Heaton, Leekfrith, Rushton Spencer and Tittesworth. A tithing (Land held subject to the payment of tithes) exists called Woodcroft 1341
William, the Vicar of Leek, receives a Royal Licence to use property for the permanent endowment of chantry at altar.
